Extreme Group has taken home four awards at the 2007 Marketing Awards this past weekend, more than any other East Coast agency.
The Touch of Gold campaign took home three awards, two for a print campaign with a media spend under $10,000, and one for a print single with a media spend under $10,000. The ads targeted men and the reasons they buy jewelry. One of the ads, placed in the sports section of the paper, has an image of a diamond ring with the text – “Steal Third.”
Extreme Group also won an award for a print ad produced for Studio In Essence in Halifax. The ad features a teacher’s name upside-down on a chalkboard. It was placed in a local publication.
Kings says Extreme’s goal has always been to compete nationally and internationally – and that’s just what’s happening. “In particular, winning in these categories with these clients proves that regardless of budget or location, it still comes down to good, solid smart ideas. Winning four awards at Marketing is not only motivating for our agency, but for our clients as well. We’re feeling pretty good.”
