The Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) has named Extreme Group a Silver winner at its 58th annual awards show held in Toronto on November 15. The “10 Straight Days” spot produced for the Atlantic Film Festival won in the category of TV Single, $50,000 or less. Silver was the highest honour given in the category.
“We’re really proud of our work for the Atlantic Film Festival,” said Shawn King, Vice President and Creative Director at Extreme Group. “So it feels great to get this kind of recognition.”
The “10 Straight Days” piece was produced as part of the 25th anniversary campaign for the Atlantic Film Festival. In the 30 second spot the audience sees what it would look like to go outside after being in a theatre for ten straight days of film. The spot was a Finalist at the Bessies Awards held earlier this year.
The ADCC awards are decided each year by a panel of international judges who select the most brilliant creative work in the country.
