Extreme Group is proud to announce the promotion of Iain Deans from senior copywriter to associate creative director.
“Iain understands the business of our clients and how to get the most out of what we do,” said Extreme Group’s vice president and creative director, Shawn King. “He’s a real motivator at the agency and this promotion reflects that. We’re happy to have him on our team and know he’s going to do even greater things moving forward.”
Deans has been a key member of Extreme Group since 2003. In his time at the agency, his creative insight into the mind of the consumer has earned him praise on advertising campaigns for clients such as Bell Aliant, Moosehead Breweries, Touch of Gold and the Toronto After Dark Film festival. “I consider myself lucky to work for an agency that’s as passionate about advertising as I am,” said Deans.
Deans’ career in advertising has been highlighted with awards from the London International Awards and Applied Arts. Most recently his work was honoured at the ICE Awards where he was rewarded for his work for Touch of Gold and Golf Cape Breton. As associate creative director Deans will ensure creative ideas deliver on the strategy and vision for both the client and the agency.
